MONDAY 2/23/09

Lorraine wanted to get up at 7 this morning. I got her up in her PJS and put her in her chair until I came back from Breakfast. I called Dr. Meyers to relate that she is stil having spasams. We made appointment at 1. He said after I called, he got to calculating and the new Baclofen would not reach her spine for 4 days, which would be tomorrow. He said they had had some problems with Baclofen getting stale after 6 months and didn't have the original strength. He said she was still getting a low dose and set the pump up another 10% She had a spasam this evening, so I hope by tomorrow they will stop. We left the Doc's office and got her a cone and I went to the Post Office to stock up on the "forever stamps" since the postage is going up by 2 cents in May. Lorraine didn't want to go to the dining room for supper so I brought her a tray. She went to bed at 7 again.
