SATURDAY 11/01/08

A new month, a new time, and the same old score for the Huskers. 62 to 28 is hardly an acceptable sccore, but then what can you expect when we gave them 3 touchdowns in the first 5 minutes of the game. When the Husker game was over I watched the last of Texas and Texas Tech. Now that was a game! Tech's touchdown with 1 second left and taking down #1 Texas 39 to 33 was exciting! Outside of football, I picked up our monthly supply of med refills. Lorraine's "cash out" was $358.35 for 13 prescriptions. One was $158.63 and another one was $143.22 so it counts up pretty fast. I am the lucky one. 4 prescriptions only cost me $5.87 after insurance. Stopped by HyVee for some more fruit and Healthy Choice Dinners. Weighed Lorraine today and she weighed in at a whopping 182 pounds. A gain of 15 pounds in 2 months. We go to the Doc on Monday so we will see if there is anything we can do. At this rate, she will be at 200 pounds by the first of the year. This is the same Doc that said 3 months ago when he put her on Lasix that she should lose 20 pounds in 3 months. I can't buy new clothes fast enough at this rate.
