SUNDAY 11/09/08

First, a note to Lindsey, I got your comments for Saturday by EMail but the blog shows zero comments. Did you check to publish it? Some good news today. I weighed Lorraine a week ago and then weighed her today. According to the same scales, she lost 2 pounds. I know this is not much and can easily be in variance but at least it didn't show a gain. Joel, Amy and Isabella came to Basalt to visit mom & dad & grams & gramps. When Jim called, we got to talk to Amy. She confirmed what the Doc said that Paxil can cause weight gain. She said there were other anti-depressants that did not have that characteristic. Maybe, just maybe, and I am not confessing that Liz and Norma were correct when they insisted it was medication causing the weight gain. I guess only time will tell. I don't know why the Doc didn't tell us that months ago when I complained about the weight. They never tell you about side effects when they prescribe a med and it was not in the side effects printed from the drug store. We had home made Pizza for supper tonight and it was pretty good. A relief from soup and some kind of "salad" sandwiches. Oh yes, and did you notice I finally have a replica of Dean on the blog. Took a few trys this afternoon and finally made it. I had a picture of me in the cowboy hat first but didn't like it.
