SATURDAY 11/29.08

This was a remarkable Saturday. Dale, Jenny , Lindsey and Ashley drove out from Omaha to visit these old folks in the Detention Center. They arrived at 12:30 and since Uncle Ed's is closed, we decided to go to Applebees. They gave us a nice corner booth for the five of us and Lorraine could get her power chair up to the end. We all ordered and shortly after it was served (Oh No, it Couldn't Happen) but it did. The waitress brought a large glass of tea and when she set it down, she upset it toward Jenny and Lindsey. Of course they got all wet and Jenny said it even ran down in her boot. They made the best of it and we finished eating and retired back to the cell. Dale brought his computer and we enjoyed the Thanksgiving pictures. Lindsey brought a rendering of one of the projects she did in New York. It looked pretty modern and well designed to me. We visited about everything from "soup to nuts"and much to our agony, they left for Omaha at 3. Jenny and Lindsey had to catch a plane back to San Diego at 9:30. Thanks Dale and Girls for making this another rememberable day!!
