FRIDAY 10/03/08

Friday, end of the work week but think of all of the people working over the weekend, like the Aides here and others that it takes to serve the public.  Time for us to get our monthly check up which includes blood pressure, temp, and weight.  I stayed the same at 165 as well as Lorraine at 176.  Hopefully we can keep it that way and she doesn't gain anymore.  The Doc said when he put her on Lasix she should lose 20 pounds in 3 months but that ain't happening.  I called to get Lorraine in to see the Neurologist and the best they could do is October 27th.  Another one of those bad nights.  I got up 17 times to turn her, cover or uncover, cough drop, a drink or whatever.  Not as bad as it sounds as it averages out every 30 plus minutes for the time I was in bed.  Tomorrow will be the "show down" for Big Red.
