TUESDAY 6/23/09

Lorraine has made lots of progress. I can see the difference even as the day progressed today. They took her off the oxygen and shut down the IV's except for (we hope) the last asti-biotic tonight. Dr. Shiffermiller said this morning as soon as he could get the infection Dr. convinced the oral anti-biotics will do the job, she can get dismissed. We think tomorrow. She is more alert than I have seen her for quite awhile so the pneumonia must have been dragging her down. I will go tomorrow to get the blood checked to see if I can get off the shots and the rat poison. Dale and Debbie were up tonight and Dale this morning to see Lorraine. I forgot my cell phone again this morning so if you tried to call the last 2 days you were out of luck.
