THURSDAY 1/8/09

Seventh verse today was a little off key. Lorraine went for her colonoscopy at 8 this morning. Dr. Cronk said they found nothing that would contribute to diarreha but they took some biopsies. it will be 5 days before any results on them. She came back to the room at 10:30 and was hungry. I ordered her dinner and about 11 she turned deathly sick. I haven't seen her vomit for years. She was shaking and said she was cold but had 7 blankets on her. Her temp went up to 101.9 so they called the Doc and he ordered Xrays of her abdomen. Of course we were worried about a rupture of the intestine. After a couple of hours, she felt better and we took off the blankets. I guess it must have been what ever they used to put her out. She ate half a sandwich at 4 and some mashed potatoes, carrots, chicken soup and a litttle sherbet for supper. She just can't get enough to drink. She also had some more diarreha this afternoon. The Doc is keeping her in the hospital until tomorrow to see if it continues. I don't know what will happen if she continues.
