TUESDAY 1/20/09

New President and we hope things change and we get back to normal again. Lorraine woke up at 5 this morning with terrible pain in her lower extremities. We presume it was bladder spasm or something. She went back to sleep about 7:30 and slept until 11. Got her up and in the bathroom when she complained about being nauseated. I gave her a nausea pill but she was so sick she thought she was going to vomit. She was in great pain until about 2 and she went to sleep for about 30 minutes and woke up again with the feeling to vomit. She laid awake until 4 and I gave her another nausea pill. In about 45 minutes she went to sleep again. She woke up at 6 and said she felt a little better. She hasn't eaten anything all day. The nurse was in this afternoon and was afraid she had the flu. I called the Doc and she can get in at 2:10 on Thursday. Home Health will come tomorrow and take a blood sample to check her potassium level. Still too many BM's.
